NOTE TO AOL USERS
If you are viewing these pages from AOL's internal web browser, you are most likely seeing blurred, messy images, rather than the images we intend for you to see. AOL compresses images because of the limitations of their compression software.
The best way to view this site is with an external browser, such as Netscape Communicator or Internet Explorer. Each of these is freely available for download at http://www.browsers.com/. (You may already have one on your computer. Look for the blue "e" on your desktop or the "N" with a boat steering wheel.) Once you have downloaded an external browser and installed it, you can connect to AOL as usual, and then access our family website through the external browser rather than the browser AOL provides.
It should be noted that after you download Netscape or Internet Explorer, you should purge your cache before trying to reconnect to the averittfamily.com website. These browsers tend to store pages previously visited and they will load the same way unless you delete them from your cache and reopen them as new. The way to do this is go to start, control panel, internet options, look for temporary files, and click on delete files. This will delete the pages you have already visited so they will reload as new. Then, you should be able to see the beautiful pictures at averittfamily.com. Enjoy!
