Be still your heart, C.B., I'm finally here!! It's me, Laura. I told you I would do this!! (No matter that it has taken 6 months!!) And yes I totally fell for the recent study on scuba diving and eyesight, although it mad no sense when I saw the title!! So Ha Ha on me!! Anyway, what I am supposed to be doing is telling everyone how much I enjoyed my Open Water Cert. class with Randy McDonald. I don't know how may of you have had the pleasure of having him teach you something about diving, but he is wonderful. Blake was our Dive Master for the class. Blake was awesome as well and I found it very comforting to have him hanging behind us, making sure we were OK. I always made a point of finding him, especially in the quarry. Thank you both. I don'th think my introduction to diving could have been any better. Happy Holidays everyone!!

Wow! How long have you guys (the co.) been here? I am originally from the area & have been living here again after many years away. Things HAVE changed in & around the Florence area quite a bit, but I had no idea there was such a place in its environs! Can't wait to spread the word! I haven't had time to fully check out your site, but would love to get an idea of how many divers are in the area. I was originally certified in FL in '98, but haven't had the opportunity to do much diving in quite a while. Could you please send me some of your info. on recertification? I would certainly appreciate it! Also, I wanted to clear up some confusion related to my lovely home state: the area that a lot of people seem to visit (and where unfortunately, I have never been diving) is spelled "Myrtle" Beach. Hey CB, Sherry, Howard and the rest of the gang! I am new to the dive world but boy have I been to some amazing places lately. I thought I would share this one with you, My boyfriend Roberts passion is diving, he truly loves it, and that is "one" of the reasons I became a diver. Recently Robert took me down to Blu Grotto and Devils Den, well its not the carribean but it was cool! While diving at Blu Grotto we made a stop about 50ft on what is known as "peace rock", it has names and hearts and stuff carved on it, anyway, RObert pulled out his slate and began writing , I am pre occupied with the rather large catfish, and the chill of the water! He turned it around and Hey, I almost lost my regulator, will u marry me? Yes, he did, and the date is Sept. 28 2002, you are all invited! Ha, thought you would like that! We came up and it was pouring rain, thundering and lightning, just what I need with a big metal tank on my back, he went to the truck got the real ring, he took a fake one down, and dropped on his kness and and said, if you did'nt hear me, I want to spend the rest of my life with you, will u marry me?
